How To Easily Remove Used Wax Melts From Your Warmer
Removing used wax melts from your wax warmer dish can be a bit challenging. Either you pour the melted wax back into the wax tray or you try to pop it out of the dish. Sometimes those wax pucks can be stubborn and not want to come out, and putting the wax dish in the freezer doesn’t always work and can crack your dish.
Today we are showing you how to use a string or rope to easily remove wax melts from your wax warmer.
Advantages to Warming a Candle VS. Burning a Candle
Candles are a great way to fill your home with fragrance. But is it safe to burn a candle? Here at Candle Warmers Etc. we believe that warming a candle from the top down with Candle Warming Lamps and Lanterns is an excellent way to use a candle. And we are going to tell you why.
1. No Soot. The smoke from a burning candle creates toxic fumes and can leave soot on walls or furniture. Warming a candle melts the wax from the warmth of the bulb so there is no soot produced.
3. Longer Lasting Fragrance. When burning a candle with a flame, the wax evaporates more quickly than when the wax is melted by a warming bulb. This means that melting your candle with a lamp or lantern can make it last up to 3 times longer.
4. Instant Fragrance. Our lamps and lanterns use a warming bulb that warms the candles from the top down. The warmth of the bulb almost instantly starts to melt the wax, immediately releasing the fragrance.
5. Ambiance of a Lit Candle. The warm glow of the warming bulb creates a flame-like ambiance so it still feels and looks like you have a lit candle in the room.
Get the most out of those expensive candles with our candle warming lamps and lanterns. Choose the perfect one for your home today at Candle Warmers Etc.

WARM CINNAMON BUNS FRAGRANCE: Fresh from the oven cinnamon buns smothered with sweet buttercream frosting.
TOP NOTES: Cinnamon, Citrus MID NOTES: Baked Accord, Brown Sugar BASE NOTE: Vanilla
Candle Warmers Etc. melts are made of soy wax, which is both biodegradable and sustainably sourced. Each 2.5 oz melt wax has a melt time of 30 hours. How To MakeThe Best Cinnamon RollsEver:
2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
3/4 cup warm milk (no hotter than 110 degrees f)
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup softened butter
2 tablespoons cinnamon
2/3 cups brown sugar
4 oz. cream cheese softened
3 tablespoons softened butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Add milk, sugar, and yeast to the bowl of a stand mixer. Mix and then let stand for about 5 minutes to let it start bubbling. Add melted butter and stir. Whisk the egg in a small bowl and slowly add to the mixture in the bowl while it’s mixing. Mix until well combined. With a dough hook, slowly add flour and salt. Stir on a low speed with your dough hook for about 8 minutes. The dough should not stick to your fingers now, but if it does, add more flour to the dough a tablespoon at a time until it is pulling away from the bowl and it doesn’t stick to your fingers.
Transfer dough to an oiled bowl and cover with a tea towel. Let rise until doubled. About an hour and a half.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Roll dough on a well-floured surface into a 12 x 9-inch rectangle. Spread softened butter all over dough then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the butter.
Tightly roll the dough up, starting from the 12-inch side and pinch the seam so your rolls stay rolled up. Cut into 1 inch pieces and add to a sprayed 9×13 pan.
Pour heavy whipping cream all over the top of the rolls.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and not doughy. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
While the rolls are cooling, make the frosting. In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Spread over cinnamon rolls and serve immediately.

5 Cottagecore Home Decorating Ideas
A cottage core home has the feeling of a rustic cottage in the countryside. It’s a simple way of decorating using simple and clean pieces. It is reminiscent of the past and creates a cozy atmosphere. It has a strong focus on softness and comfort. Today we are sharing with you 5 ideas on how you can incorporate this style in your own home, with items you might already have.
Now close your eyes and imagine yourself in a cozy cottage nestled in a fairy forest and listening to the babbling of a nearby brook.
1. Choose your flooring wisely.
Starting from the bottom up and updating your floor using materials that give the floors a weathered look is the first step. You can find many options that are cost-effective and still give the worn and textured look that you are going for. Go for a rustic wood with lots of texture or a tile that looks worn and scuffed.
2. Lean toward furniture pieces that are natural
When it comes to furniture for your cottage core home, go for items that are natural wood, soft colors, and vintage. Using natural-looking fabrics with plaid or floral prints for throw pillows will create that cozy cottage feeling. Use several prints and textures together to add a touch of whimsy.
3. Cottagecore accents
When it comes to accents for your cottagecore home, look for thrifted, second hand pieces. Using nature scented candles with a candle warmer helps to bring the outside, in. Try to use fragrances like pine, floral, or fruity to give the feeling of fresh, clean spring air.
Bring in a variety of houseplants to help bring nature inside. Climbing vines and trees are a great way to add an organic feel to your space. Hang dried herbs and flowers to help with the organic vibe.
4. Color palette for cottagecore
When it comes to paint choices for cottagecore, choose a soft, neutral palette for the walls. Stick with warm wood tones or creamy shades of white or gray. You can always add pops of color by painting furniture with earth tones.
5. Don’t forget the outdoors
Carrying the concept of cottagecore to your outdoor space helps to create a seamless transition from the outdoors. Use your outdoor spaces to create a refuge for wildlife with birdhouses, hummingbird feeders, and a birdbath. Use beautiful shrubs and trees along with wildflowers that grow naturally in your area to create a native-looking home.
It’s easy to create a comfortable, vintage, and cozy cottage getaway right in your own home thanks to the cottagecore decorating style!
6 DIY Home Decorating Tips
We have 6 great tips from professional home stagers to help you freshen your home decor without ruining your budget.
1. Start at the front door.
We want our homes to make great first impressions, so it’s important to start at the front door. Use paint to make your front door stand out and feel like it’s inviting us in. Historically, a red door meant “welcome to weary travelers”. What does your front door say about your home?
2. Anchor rugs under furniture feet.
To create a comfortable sitting area it’s always best to place the front feet of all couches and chairs on the area rug. Make sure your rug fits the size of the room. A big room requires a big area rug.
3. Style decorative objects in odd numbers.
Using the “rule of thirds” in home decorating makes things more visually appealing to the human eye. Three seems to be the magic number for interior design, but the rule also applies nicely for groupings of five or seven. Our fragrance warmers, like this Gather Illumination, are the perfect addition to help balance a room out.
4. Add a mirror to every room.
Mirrors seem to make a room brighter because they bounce the light from the windows around the room. They also help to make a room look larger by reflecting the opposite side of the room. Place mirrors on walls that are perpendicular to a window so they don’t bounce the light right back out the window.
5. Use tricks to raise the ceiling.
Painting short walls white helps to make a room feel less claustrophobic. Place your curtain rods close to the ceiling to draw the eye upward. Using verticle stripes and placing a tall mirror against a wall can also help a room seem taller.
6. Make your furniture “speak” to each other.
Arrange your furniture in groupings to invite conversation. Face the couches and chairs towards each other and pull the furniture away from the walls. “Floating” furniture actually makes the room look larger.
5 Ways to Set the Mood for Valentine’s Day
Part of making Valentine’s Day special and romantic is setting the mood and preparing for it. There are a number of ways that the perfect mood can be set and decorating for it can help to create an overall effect. Today we have some great ideas to help create an environment that exudes love and romance in your home.
1. Decorate your area with things that mean something.
When you decorate, think of the things that matter most to your partner. What is their favorite flower? What is their favorite color? What is their favorite scent? Use these things to create a romantic atmosphere. Set a dinner table beautifully with a red table cloth and red napkins, beautiful plates and silverware, and wine glasses. Get out your red Christmas lights and hang them around the room. The possibilities are endless
2. Set the mood with candlelight.
Nothing sets a romantic mood more than candlelight. Using candles that use aromatherapy to help set the mood is a bonus. The Aromatherapy Collection from Candle Warmers Etc. can help you do that! The Relax Aromatherapy Candle mixes Lavender and Ylang Ylang essential oils in soy wax to help get you in the right mindset.
3. Play romantic music.
Music affects your brain in either a positive or negative way. That’s why playing romantic music to help set the mood really works. Music can help us forget about our worries for a short while and help us relax and feel better. Learn more about how music can affect your brain here.
4. Use fragrance to help set the mood.
Our sense of smell is often underestimated in how powerful it is to our mind. Fragrances affect our emotions, our concentration, and our bio-rhythms, and is one of the most important factors when forming memories. So find a signature scent for your home and use it to create good memories.
5. Serve delicious food and treats.
Sharing a meal together can be a great way to show love in action. A fancy dessert could be a great place to start when planning the food for the night. If your special someone is a kid a heart, try a strawberry pizza or ice cream waffle-wich. If they have a sweet tooth, consider a fancy mousse or dark chocolate covered strawberries. Whatever you decide to make, just make sure you make it with love, since that’s what Valentine’s Day is all about.
We hope these ideas help to make your Valentine’s Day extra special this year!
