Whether you’re a mom on-the-go, a college student, or a starting a brand new job post-graduation, you’re going to have days where you feel like there aren’t enough hours to accomplish everything. Stress makes it harder to accomplish everything on your to-do list, so we compiled a few tips and reminders to keep yourself at ease!
Organize your Work Space: Get creative and spend time decorating your work area. You will appreciate all of your hard work and it will save you so much time in the long run looking for files or misplaced items. This step is the hardest and people try to bypass it because it is such a big step. But with an unorganized and scattered work area, you're going to have a scattered brain as well. Just think of it as a fun DIY home improvement project! Label folders, boxes, find a place to store them, make it dummy proof!
Plan ahead: The night before you have to go out and about, make sure you have everything you need for the next day so that you aren’t rushing in the morning. Plus, you might have a chance to press that snooze button once or twice.
Make lists: Writing down the things you need to get done is a must. When you have so much going on all at once, you might not remember everything. Make a grocery list, a list of assignments you need to finish by next week or a list of ideas for that novel you want to write but you haven’t written yet.
Have a calendar: Keep a calendar on your desk, posted on your fridge or even in your smartphone. Being able to see when that doctor’s appointment is or when the next math exam is helpful for scheduling your other To-Do’s. You don't ever want to overbook yourself!
Remember to relax! Take some time during the day-- or night --to unwind and do something you enjoy. Read a book, take a nap, or watch one of your favorite movies with your favorite wax warming in your Candle Warmers.
It's always nice to have reminders during stressful times, hope we helped you just the tinniest bit to help you get through the stresses of a new school year!
