We’ve talked about the how a Candle Warmer works and why it helps the fragrance last so much longer. The magic of it all is that the warmer isn’t burning the wax away like a candle. This allows the full fragrance to be released and disbursed into the air at a much slower rate, leaving you with a better smelling home for longer!
Here are a few tips and pointers to help you maximize the life and fragrance of your wax:
1. The top layer of wax – this is one of the first things people will learn about their warmer. When the top layer is melted and no longer emitting the fragrance you want, pour it out and your candle will smell like new! The new layer will then be visible and will release the fragrance. To maximize the life of the candle, don’t pour out the top layer of wax until you feel that the fragrance is not as strong as it could be. This can be a big decision, we know. Luckily the life of your candle will increase so you will not have to worry about this too often.
2. Don’t melt your candle for more than a few hours at a time – You will maximize the life and fragrance if you give your candle time to cool down and set again. The scent that fills your home will go to waste if you have it going all the time, especially when you are not there to enjoy it.
3. Use quality wax – A lot of people will say that they do not like using a candle warmer because they feel the fragrance goes away too fast. Though they may agree the scent is great and strong enough to fragrance the area they want, they feel it runs out too fast. It is for this reason we recommend using Candle Warmers Etc. wax products. It is our goal to bring our customers long-lasting, quality products that will leave your home and/or business smelling great.
4. Store your candle away from the sun – Keep your candle away from direct sunlight. This can fade the candle, and if warm enough, could release the scent when you do not want it to. In order to keep wax lasting as long as possible, store it out of the sun and in a temperature that is not too hot.
